The problem I have with the storms is you get through one and find yourself smack dab in the middle of another one. ..or maybe that’s just me because I never seem to learn my lessons or head my own advice. lol
Hi LauraBelle, I can relate – I’ve been working on how can I decrease the frequency and severity of storms. Not too sure what the answer is, but for me, once the storm is over – I just want to forget about and I don’t practice the lessons I learned mid-storm. This time, I wrote down some things that I noticed in the storm and put them in a bottle and put it out to sea so hopefully it will wash ashore and become a reminder. Peace, Harlon
The storm and the stillness are such profound companions. I am amazed always at how we humans can know both of these within us, how we can carry them and come to know them. Storms without warning sometime wash things clean in ways that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. Stillness is a raft that will remain until the waters have settled, and then beyond…
Yes, dear Harlon. You will be okay. I sometimes wonder if they truly come without warning….or if we ignore it all long enough that we can no longer hold back…? Either way, the thing I know about storms is the air is never clearer than it is after one!! Breathe…drink it in ♡♡
I agree Lorrie, as I am feeling like I am in a bit of one now, there were signs, it’s tough being in it, but I agree there air with be clear and the debris will be washed away. Much love, Harlon
Love your thoughts, Harlon! One of the things I love about life’s storms is that they are very cleansing and everything looks so beautiful and fresh after. They also leave silver linings with gorgeous rays of sunshine shining down upon you. It will all be OK. Hugs to you, my friend! ♥
Thank you Serena, I feel a bit in the eye of the storm now, it feels a lot less overwhelming with your great perspective – feeling cleansed and refreshed and seeing things in and even being in a new light. Hugs to you also my dear friend, Harlon
If you are in the eye, that means it is half over! Hang in there and it will pass in no time.. Trust in the strength you gained by all of the previous storms you’ve endured. Love and hugs! ♥
Yes. It will be okay. Those flowers look like those of the mimosa trees I love so well. The leaves look a little different that the mimosas of the mid Atlantic US.
Thank you JoAnna for your support. You do make a difference – and it’s a nice feeling. I took that picture when I was in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I can’t remember the name of it there but it most ceretainly is in the same family as the mimosa trees. I do love them and it’s fun to get into nature and see all the variations. Yay for Biodiversityy! Hugs, Harlon
You will definitely be OK…more than OK!! Garfield hugs Harlon and have a great day ahead! 😀
