Actually, you are going somewhere, all the time, no matter what! The Earth orbits, on average, 93 million miles (149,600,000 km) from the Sun (this distance is defined as one Astronomical Unit (AU)), taking one year to complete an orbit. The Earth revolves around the Sun at a speed of about 18.5 miles/sec (30 km/sec).
Great perspective, kind of wants me to play my “stop the world, I want to get off” card for a second. Time to take time to do the things I love. Nature is always the best place to start. xo Harlon
Thank you Miranda, that’s a lovely way of reframing it. Nowhere can be a lot of diifferent tthings to different people, but yes, the calmness and safety of it is HOME. Blessings and gratitude, Harlon
Exactly, sometimes the “there” I am searching for is right “here”. Nature, friendships, animals, Netflix, caregiving as in actually giving care, it’s all good enough for me so there is no where to go because here is where I want to be. xo Harlon
When I was lonely I started singing romantic love songs to my creator: God/Jesus/My Higher power. (works for whatever yours might be). This one could be sung to or by your Creator who loves you more than you can imagine: https://youtu.be/_DlMHoOZ4Qg?list=RD_DlMHoOZ4Qg Hugs ❤
Thanks for that very nice musical interlude – and what I really love about blogging is how we support each other even though we don’t know each other (but we do). I love the idea of singing love songs to my creator. I am going to do that, I think it’s a great ingredient to happy living – thanks for adding to the recipe. Love, Harlon

I’d love to be there – in the calm – no where to go. Seize it! Enjoy!

Darn night….I know the calmness is not always permanent but yes, when you are in it, then seize it…and I am totally digging it. Peace, Harlon
