I woke up early and I heard the songbirds sing
I know it’s a little soon but I’m thinking about spring
The skies have been so grey I have a vitamin D deficiency
It won’t be long before I start feeling summery
I am doing the best the I can
I can only be who I am
so maybe that means I don’t fit in
but I will be singing when the songbirds sing
and this time I will sing along
because time is something we have no true measure of
the symphony of life could always using some re-orchestrating
may the music of life allow for the diversity of songbirds to sing.
Nice! I resemble this one. I don’t fit in….. life has made me unique. Btw I have a cardinal that visits my backyard. Beautiful bird

I think that is something you can say with pride. I am sure the cardinal would agree. 🙂 Harlon

Thanks Carolyn, the first fragrant breath of spring is indeed inspiring as well as the signs of the return to life of nature. I am glad you enjoyed. xo Harlon

I agree, for me the sign of birds and soon plant life is truly a breath of fresh air and that spring is on the way. I don’t do winter well 😦

Winter is definitely more fun with a dog. They force you to get out there and not fight winter but to frolic in it. Dogs make everything better!
