That Time Of Year

So another year has gone by

So what is the deal with all about that?

I think the big deal is

I don’t exactly know where I am at.

I am open to uncertainty

I don’t know what to look forward to

There’s a lot of me’s that can come over me

I am just not sure which one I should look forward to.

There are moments of uncertainty

There are moments when I am aware and awake

Thinking, what am I doing here

Oh, for goodness’ sake.

What’s going on, what’s happening?

I wish I had someone who would ask those questions to me

but here, I am, as I am now

looking into a mirror asking those questions to me.

  1. I know this feeling sometimes it is as if no one understands, it can be lonely. But, I think the answers will be revealed at the appropriate time when least expected. Love, blessings, happiness, good sleep to you sweet Harlon xoxo

    • It’s just a difficult time for me, heavy stuff, that I can’t change, and it’s real, and that’s part of life is living through the real. It’s a bit cliche, but doesn’t kill you makes me stronger, and I know I will emerge through this stronger. Empathy, gratitude and compassion are the main ingredients for the remedy. Thanks for asking 🙂 Harlon

  2. Hello my wonderful friend!! Is there (or was there) a birthday I should know about??? I have been thinking of you…feeling that summer barely got here before she decided to leave and knowing that it was way too short for you! (And me!)
I think what you are doing is exactly what you are meant to do…now. and then I think that there is something you will do and be involved in that will delight your soul. And i think you know what it is…deep down. When the time is right it will surface 💜💜

    • Alas, I haven’t been too diligent on WordPress but yes it was my birthday on September 1. I find birthdays can be difficult, kind of like New Year’s, high expectations. So I spent my birthday in bed and many days after feeling crap. I am just going to write it off, as I do to many things, as bad timing, but the timing of hearing from you is always pitch perfect. Lotsa love coming my way – Harlon
