Illumi-Nation

spotlight2

I stopped reading the news

too much corruption

I want to be happy

but there’s so much competition

It never happened

my evolution

It was stalled by

new legislation

Funding was interrupted

it stopped my exploration

Seeds were planted

there was no germination

I get phone calls

about the election

Apathy is just a form of

 distraction

I am good now

I don’t need redemption

The jury is out now

about exoneration

I have no fear now

numb to rejection

I feel no pain now

I like this titration

I saw myself happy

it was not a hallucination

The doubt I am feeling

is my manifestation

I am hopeful

I will find salvation

I believe there is still a chance

for integration

I am redesigning

my reflection

Joy and happiness

are my destination

I am smiling

my self-benediction

  2. Thanks Lorrie, I am glad you enjoyed this – this was fun and easy to write, it started off as a melody and ended up coming out with no fuss and no mess. I’m glad I kept my sister’s Easy-Bake oven, it really does the trick sometime. 🙂 Harlon

  3. I love this Harlon…really love it!! It’s brilliant. I love the rhythm…and the repetitive “tion.” I imagine it took quite a while to create this…well, it was worth it!! Much love and many blessings to you…Happy Easter 🙂
