…when in doubt, there’s always someone else who has something brilliant to say and I selected this quote because it captures the sense of “community” and “connection” that readers of this blog have fostered in me with your attention, your comments, insight and inspiring reflections and observations. You keep me from becoming the invisible man. Thank you…
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.

Thanks Lorrie for reminding me that I am visible. I think I have lost my powers to go “invisible” (I’m filing everything that I doubt or unsure of under “mid-life crisis” at this point). I may, from time to time, be silent…worry not and please know that in the ways that I am able, I will be visible for you. Peace, Harlon

You said a lot, Harlon. Let me answer that call to gratitude and sweeten the pot with a few chips of joy. Whose deal is it?

I’ve lost track of whose deal it is, but methinks we are both playing with a full deck. I sense you have the graciousness to know when to fold and I am seeing that in myself. So let me sweeten the pot with more chips; sour creme and onion? I guess I am not really sweetening the pot, I am making it savoury. Peace, Harlon
