They say there is nothing sure about life
other than death and taxes
I am wondering now how long this humming planet
will keep spinning on its axis.
If I had my druthers
and we listened to our Mothers
they would tell us something:
The only things that we can be sure of
is war is good for nothing
and peace comes to one who relaxes.
