The stories we tell about ourselves and our lives either empower or disempower us.
Affirm your narrative by basing it on the nobility of your truths and not on distorted memories, past regrets or current doubts.
We have agency. We don’t have to be victims. We can start writing a new script for the next part of our lives where the choices we make create a beautiful storyline.
Good one man, your words have power!!

Amen to Brother Harlon!! I’ve been listening to Affirming Inspiration & Uplifting videos on YouTube and downloading spiritual podcasts to my devices. While I was on vacation I went with my Japanese friend to her Buddhist Temple and I’m making an effort to really observe Lent this year in terms of allowing myself to “Just Be.”

Agreed Harlon. I’ve been paying more attention to the words and stories I tell myself and others. And learning to tell more loving, compassionate and empowering stories. 🙂
