Somewhere In The Middle

grounded

I’m tired of thinking

I lie back and look upwards

at the yellow leaves

they fall and flutter down.

I surrender

neither lost nor found.

I reach up with serenity

reporting from the middle ground.

    1. Thank you, those moments of acceptance and serenity are sublime. It is especially nice when nature fosters them and turns the volume up a little bit. And thank you for noticing my new profile pic. Trying to capture the last of the autumn glow – things get less pretty – including me πŸ™‚ when winter descends. Peace, Harlon
