Three Degrees of Separation

Will I ever feel love?

Will I ever have a soul mate, eating soul food, talking about our souls, while we listen to soul music?

I hear people talking about body and soul.

What is love?

What is it like to be loved,

body and soul?

  1. Love is kind, considered, giving and never seeks it’s own way. There are many ways to love, but the best way is to give it freely and expecting nothing in return. If you manage that, you receive back in abundance. You are loved

  2. Love means to learn to look at yourself
The way one looks at distant things
For you are only one thing among many.
And whoever sees that way heals his heart,
Without knowing it, from various ills—
A bird and a tree say to him: Friend.

Then he wants to use himself and things
So that they stand in the glow of ripeness.
It doesn’t matter whether he knows what he serves:
Who serves best doesn’t always understand.

  3. Hi Harlon! I asked myself this question over and over again. Finally, I found my answer. I have listened to soul music, while dancing with my soulmate, while discussing how we are meant to be. That is why I can happily say that I am engaged, and we are to be married on April 24th, in 16 days! 🙂 Do not give up hope, my friend. I always knew that love existed, but never knew what it felt like to be in it…now I do, and you will too!

    1. Dear Serena, if only you could see how big of a smile I have on my face right now. I am so happy that you are loving and being loved. I wish you all the continued joy in the world and hope to get the occasional update. And the countdown to your wedding is now 10 days. May the love you give continue to radiate and may love always be radiant upon you. xoxo Harlon
